We are delighted that 2 of our our writers have received nominations ahead of this years’ Ivors Awards, taking place in London on Thursday 18th May.
Obongjayar has been nominated in the Best Album category for his 2022 LP Some Nights I Dream Of Doors. The award celebrates albums released in the UK in 2022 that “exhibit creative consistency and exceptional songwriting”
Meanwhile Dave Bayley of Glass Animals is nominated in the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category for the group’s 2020 single Heat Waves, an accolade which reflects the enormous success the track continues to have nearly 3 years after its release.
