We’re excited to share the latest addition to our roster — bar italia, who have signed to the Mattitude roster. ‘Nurse!’, their first single through Matador records, comes out today.
bar italia are Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton.
Since forming in 2020, the London based trio have released two albums and an EP on Dean Blunt’s World Music label, as well as several singles.
Throughout 2022 they performed at festivals including Pitchfork Music Festival London, by:Larm, OUT.FEST, Le Guess Who?, and End Of The Road, in addition to their own headline shows. The band play a run of UK and European headline shows in May, including the ICA in London on May 25th, and will appear at festivals this summer including Primavera Sound Barcelona & Madrid, Latitude, Midi Festival and End Of The Road.
