Pumarosa release debut album ‘The Witch’ to rave reviews

Pumarosa’s stunning debut album ‘The Witch’, published by Beggars Music was released on Fiction Records on Friday May 19th.

The Witch’ – soundtracks a vivid journey thus far: from the shared Tottenham warehouse the 5 piece band formed in to the derelict Italian cinema in which they honed their sound, and then the South London studio of eccentric producer Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, Bat For Lashes, TOY). Having sold-out a series of headline shows starting at a half-knocked down house in Peckham to the ICA and then the Oval Space – alongside touring with artists like Kate Tempest, Glass Animals, Everything Everything and wowing crowds at festivals like Latitude and secret midnight sets at Glastonbury – Pumarosa have emerged as one of the UK’s most undeniably powerful live bands.

“When people ask about the next Radiohead it’s easy to point to Pumarosa as a band capable of following that path-but that would do injustice to how vital and unique they are. We are in a Pumarosa world now, and my does it look phenomenal” –  DORK ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“An explosive debut heralding the arrival of a major new talent. One of the debuts of the year” –
Q MAGAZINE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“…Here is an album that embraces every fibre of your being; generous in its awe-inspiring and beautiful moments. It’ll keep you guessing every minute of its hour long run.”
