We are thrilled to share that Lankum have been nominated for the 2023 Mercury Prize for their astounding record ‘False Lankum’. The annual award celebrates the best British and Irish albums of the year. The judging panel is made up of figures from the music industry, including musicians Anna Calvi and Hannah Peel, radio DJs such as Jamz Supernova and Mistajam, and Jeff Smith, who is the head of music at BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, and chairs the panel this year.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on September 7th
