Haley Fohr

Haley Fohr is a vocalist, composer and singer-songwriter based in Chicago, IL.

Active for over a decade, Fohr has released acclaimed albums via De Stijl, Thrill Jockey, and Drag City as Circuit des Yeux and Jackie Lynn. Recently signed to Matador Records, she released -io, her debut Circuit des Yeux album for the label, in 2021.

Fohr has worked with Steve Gunn, Roy Montgomery, Cooper Crain (Cave, Bitchin Bajas), Ryley Walker, Josh Abrams (Natural Information Society), Tyler Damon, Whitney Johnson(Verma), Rob Frye (Bitchin Bajas), Adam Luksetich (Little Scream), Kathleen Baird (Spires That In The Sunset Rise), and more.

Created an original soundtrack for Charles Bryant’s Salomé (1923), which was commissioned by Opera North and performed at the Barbican in London, Art Institute of Chicago, and beyond.

Notable artist residencies and commissions include Wordless Music, Big Black Box and Breathing Machine.

Circuit des Yeux’s “Brainshift” appeared in a 2019 episode of Charmed.
