Stella Mozgawa

Joshua Tree based producer/composer/musician Stella Mozgawa is best known as the drummer of acclaimed band Warpaint, but she has also collaborated with Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile, Queens Of The Stone Age, Cate Le Bon, The xx, Adam Green, Regina Spektor, Kim Gordon, Flea, Sharon Van Etten and Tom Jones.

Stella has produced acclaimed remixes of many artists including Depeche Mode, Courtney Barnett, Daughter, Shura, Georgia and Eves The Behavior.

She also composed the score for the 2018 film Clara’s Ghost.

Together with Bryan Charles Holon aka Boom Bip, of Neon Neon fame, Stella has formed electronic duo Belief. Their 2022 self-titled debut LP was critically acclaimed, with Bandcamp saying: “Dance music purists need not be distrustful of this offering by apparent outsiders; Belief knows what they are doing, and they do it well.”

In 2022 Stella was nominated for an ARIA award for her work on Courtney Barnett’s Things Take Time, Take Time.
